The School Day
The school day
The school day starts at 8:55am and ends at 3:15pm.
There is supervision on the playground from 8:45am.
Morning break is from 10:30 to 10:45 during which time fruit is available for all children in reception and years 1 and 2. Other children are encouraged to bring fruit to eat during this break.
Lunchtime is from 12:00 midday until 1:00pm. School meals are available and are cooked on site. We are very proud of our menus and actively encourage the choice of a healthy well-balanced diet.
Afternoon break is for younger children only, and is from 2:00 to 2:10pm.
End of school day is at 3:15pm, at which point teachers of the three younger classes will accompany the children to parents at the school gate. Children in reception are collected from the school playground. Older children are allowed to walk to the gate unaccompanied. Children attending the out of school club will be escorted to The Beeches Out of School Club.
